Une sélection de Cardinal Collection Archives par Drope2020
Pour la deuxième édition de Book Lab, la Cardinal Collection Gallery a invité DROPE2020 à créer une exposition via les vitrines, explorant les archives afin de réfléchir à la façon dont les stickers peuvent définir la création d'un livre de différentes manières.
À travers une sélection de 20 livres, l'exposition présente divers concepts, allant du style classique des albums d'autocollants à une approche plus artistique de la création d'un récit, en passant par le simple thème de l'autocollant.
Dans cette exposition, DROPE2020 met en avant le concept du sticker en tant que forme d'art à part entière et établit un lien entre l'autocollant et l'univers du livre d'artiste, en écho à la précédente exposition « Book Lab » organisée à la Cardinal Collection.
DROPE2020 est l'alter ego d'un projet qui explore une cartographie alternative de la ville de Lisbonne, où l'autocollant sert à décrypter la relation entre les acteurs vivants et l'espace public. DROPE2020 a récemment publié un livre d'artiste consacré à ses archives personnelles d'autocollants.
