Pour sa deuxième exposition, la Cardinal Collection Gallery a puisé dans ses archives afin d'explorer et de partager avec le public une sélection de livres qui remettent en question le format traditionnel du livre lui-même.
Les livres exposés mettent l'accent sur des formats, des reliures et des matériaux différents (allant des emballages pharmaceutiques au gazon artificiel).
Avec cette exposition, Cardinal Collection vise à montrer la diversité et le dynamisme de l'édition artistique contemporaine. Cette exposition rappelle qu'un livre, et plus particulièrement un livre d'artiste, est une œuvre d'art.

Cesar van Pinsett, directeur de Cardinal Collection, est un photographe, artiste auto-éditeur et conservateur originaire d'Amsterdam qui vit actuellement à Lisbonne. Après dix années passés à Paris, il a créé Cardinal Collection afin de partager sa passion pour les livres d'artistes et l'édition indépendante.

Du 12 novembre au 13 décembre 2025

Jeudi et samedi, de 14 h à 19 h, et sur rendez-vous.

Finissage le 13 décembre à 17 h avec une présentation par Cesar van Pinsett, commissaire de l'exposition.
