Cardinal Collection Archives
Cardinal Collection Archives brings together a collection of independent publications focusing on issues of sexuality, gender, and queerness.
The archives include magazines, artists’ books, photobooks, zines, and multiples, most of which are independently published. The archives, which are currently being cataloged, contain approximately 6,000 items.
The archives also give prominence to works in experimental forms and formats that question the nature of the book as an object.
The archives are based in Paris and Lisbon. the archives are open to the public by appointment for consultation and research.
