Artist Fan by Gorge Bataille & Roxanne Maillet

To celebrate Cardinal Collection Archives’ opening, Gorge Bataille & Roxanne Maillet, along with four other artists, have created a limited-edition artist fan.

Gorge Bataille (a.k.a. Elodie Petit/France Baise) is a poet and performer. Her readings/performances are revolutionary moments against the patriarchal system. She is interested in exploitative relationships on an emotional level, as well as class struggle and identity issues.

Roxanne Maillet is an artist and a graphic designer who likes to play with gender, brand names and logos. Roxanne is also co-founder of the magazine Phylactère (info: here) and part of several collectives including Bye Bye Binary which focuses on inclusive and non-binary language and type face (info; here).
